When a Government supply agency issues equipment directly
to a department, the department must send the Property Management
Section the following form:
The Property Section will send a Government "G" equipment tag to the department
to place on the equipment.
The equipment information will be entered in PMS with a Federal ownership code
indicating that this equipment is owned by the Federal Government.
There will be no accounting entries to record the asset in FAS.
