This manual contains the University policies and procedures for acquiring, using, maintaining, controlling and disposing of property owned by the University or furnished to the University by the Federal Government. The policies and procedures have been written to conform with sound business practices, Financial Accounting Standards Board Statement No. 93 and Federal regulations. University policy does not allow equipment to be purchased for the personal needs of an employee, student or other person, even though the individual offers to reimburse the University for the item.
