PURPOSE:   To establish policy for the payment of membership fees and dues for institutional organizations.

POLICY:

1. Institutional memberships fees and dues will be paid only in cases where the benefits derived are in accordance with the University's mission of instruction, research and public service.
2. Institutional membership fees and dues must be authorized, in writing, by the appropriate Dean or Vice-President.
3. Payment of institutional membership fees and dues should be made directly to the association or organization. Reimbursement to employees is prohibited.
