SUBJECT: Reopening Closed Requisitions Policy Revision
DATE: April 30, 2008

In an effort to be consistent and fair, UHRM Employment Services has implemented a new process regarding reopening requisitions:

  • UHRM Employment Services will decide whether or not to reopen a closed requisition on a case-by-case basis
  • If a requisition is closed prematurely, the department will have to contact UHRM Employment Services to reopen the closed requisition

It will be the sole responsibility of the departments to contact Employment Services and make the request to reopen the closed requisition in a timely manner. If anyone needs clarification, please contact Ed Hampton in Employment Services at ehampton@uchicago.edu.
